Say hello to the Ember Midi Dress made from our lightweight 100% cotton, in the gorgeous Clematis print, a fun floral print in blue and white, with trailing vines on a navy background. Inspired by the beloved Boho Maxi Dress, this midi version offers a shorter length while retaining its signature features. Boasting a buttoned bodice, hidden side pockets, and a flowy two-tiered midi length skirt. Sleeveless and breathable, it’s perfect for warm days, but also layers beautifully with a jacket or cardigan when it’s cooler. Add a belt to create a more defined silhouette.
Made in our Cotton Cambric: a finer, lighter weight cotton, ideal for warm days, easy for summer dressing and layering.

I am hesitant about ordering online but this was true to description and I’ve ordered it in another color.

Delighted with my latest dress from Karma East. I particularly like the contrasting bodice and skirt and I’m glad this contrast/compliment is in midi length. I’m 5’4”. I have average bust size, arm holes are a bit loose so I took them in slightly. The light cotton fabric has the right drape especially over the waist.and tum. Pockets always useful. I like experimenting with styles and colour. This patterned dark green a first for me. And it’s easy on and off , no side zip needed. It’s great for an Aussie Xmas but can be worn other times. As noted on our website, delivery to the US from our warehouse in South Australia typically takes between 5-10 business days, although courier delays can extend this timeframe and are regretfully outside of our control. With any delivery issues or concerns, we kindly ask that you contact us directly so we can assist you further.
All of our cotton does tend to soften with a few washes and wears. If you'd like it to soften faster, then you can add a splash of vinegar into the next wash. You can also give it a quick steam with a hand-held steamer (if you have one), as this will help the cotton fibres relax.

Perfect summer dress and true to size. Love the print which is exactly as in the pictures on website. Excellent quality material and fast postage.
To add to my review my new favourite dress I bought size large and I’m a 12 to 14 au
Love it.Bought it one size larger because I have broad shoulders. A cool water wash and delicate dry. Fits perfect now, except for arm holes being too large so off to alterations for a little fix. Perfect! Wonderful material and look. I am 5’5”” and weigh 145 with a mature woman’s body.
Lovely dress. Having a large bust, I was happy that it fitted well. Plenty of colours to choose from. Material good. Will be wearing this dress a lot.

The waist is high ish, the skirt is puffy, and the arm holes are small. The material is rough. I have bought better quality fabric at Kmart

The dress is made from 100% cotton, as described in the product listing, although we appreciate that the feel of cotton can vary depending on the weave and finish and also does soften after a couple washes.

I love the fit of this dress. It it flattering for any body type and just the right length. Also, the wide range of colors makes it easy to pick one that will look good on any skin tone.
Loved the style and colour of the dress, also a great fit.
I use this as a house dress. I put it on in the morning, I'm comfortable all day and I'm not caught in a nightgown if anyone drops by, but it's nice enough to wear anywhere.
I was a little disappointed in the colour. On the website it looks blue, but in reality, it is a darker green colour.

I'm new to Karma East but after receiving my first order of the Ember midi dress, I'm hooked. Great quality fabric ,good cut , fits really well and this style is really flattering. I'm a 12 bust and 10 bottom and the M fit perfectly. I will dress it up with heels and also enjoy it with my white sneakers. Beautiful blue colour, so fresh and smart for spring/ summer. When I saw this dress I thought, OK summer sorted. I bought one and if it fitted well I was going to buy a couple more. I absolutely loved the fabric and style of the dress, however, when I put it on the fit under the arms was too high and uncomfortable. So sadly I had to return the dress.

I absolutely love the items that I have purchased so far. I also love that dresses come in a bag that matches the fabric/colors of the dress. It is such a simple and great touch.
I like the colors and the fabric. I wanted a pullover dress that I coild potentially go without a nra. St least at home and still look respectable. Dresses are do much cooler in 90.+ degree heat. Size S was recommended. I think a medium eould have as uited me better. I really like the dress. I am enjoying wearing it. I will buy again from this company. Well made!
Great dress, just not right fit for me
This is a beautiful dress, fabric soft and breezy and design beautiful. It wasn't the right shape for me, it hung too lose around the bust and wasn't flattering on me. I ended up exchanging it really easily for the Tulsi dress which is much more gathered around the bust and suited me perfectly, so happy with Karma East.
The Maia dress was not cute on me. I’m shorter and have more tummy than the model. So I don’t care for it for me. I’m returning it. The color is brighter than I expected though. Very pretty!

While we do try to represent the colours of a print as accurately as possible on our website, it's important to keep in mind that different lighting conditions can affect how vibrant the print appears.
