Say hello to the Ember Midi Dress made in our lighter weight 100% cotton. The gorgeous Aspen print features a moss green base with multi-coloured folk art style florals. Inspired by the beloved Boho Maxi Dress, this midi version offers a shorter length while retaining its signature features. Boasting a buttoned bodice, hidden side pockets, and a flowy two-tiered midi length skirt. Sleeveless and breathable, it’s perfect for warm days, but also layers beautifully with a jacket or cardigan when it’s cooler. Add a belt to create a more defined silhouette.
Made in our Cotton Cambric: a finer, lighter weight cotton, ideal for warm days, easy for summer dressing and layering.

Delighted with my latest dress from Karma East. I particularly like the contrasting bodice and skirt and I’m glad this contrast/compliment is in midi length. I’m 5’4”. I have average bust size, arm holes are a bit loose so I took them in slightly. The light cotton fabric has the right drape especially over the waist.and tum. Pockets always useful. I like experimenting with styles and colour. This patterned dark green a first for me. And it’s easy on and off , no side zip needed. It’s great for an Aussie Xmas but can be worn other times. When I saw this dress I thought, OK summer sorted. I bought one and if it fitted well I was going to buy a couple more. I absolutely loved the fabric and style of the dress, however, when I put it on the fit under the arms was too high and uncomfortable. So sadly I had to return the dress.
Great fit, excellent fabric, great dress overall. It us now my favorite for summer!!!

I absolutely love the items that I have purchased so far. I also love that dresses come in a bag that matches the fabric/colors of the dress. It is such a simple and great touch.
I like the colors and the fabric. I wanted a pullover dress that I coild potentially go without a nra. St least at home and still look respectable. Dresses are do much cooler in 90.+ degree heat. Size S was recommended. I think a medium eould have as uited me better. I really like the dress. I am enjoying wearing it. I will buy again from this company. Well made!
Great dress, just not right fit for me
This is a beautiful dress, fabric soft and breezy and design beautiful. It wasn't the right shape for me, it hung too lose around the bust and wasn't flattering on me. I ended up exchanging it really easily for the Tulsi dress which is much more gathered around the bust and suited me perfectly, so happy with Karma East.
The Maia dress was not cute on me. I’m shorter and have more tummy than the model. So I don’t care for it for me. I’m returning it. The color is brighter than I expected though. Very pretty!

While we do try to represent the colours of a print as accurately as possible on our website, it's important to keep in mind that different lighting conditions can affect how vibrant the print appears. I adore the fabric patterns of this dress and the light cool crispness of the fabric; perfect for those warmer days. I have received many compliments on this dress. It is extremely comfortable and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
