The Frankie Dress is a staple at Karma East. A lovely loose-fitting style crafted from our lighter weight 100% cotton with a pure cotton lining. Now available in the Folklore print: red, pink and grey floral motifs on a black base. The Frankie is one of our best selling designs and features short sleeves, a round neckline, square yoke bib, and incorporated pockets with pin tucks, this dress sits below the knee. Designed to be loose fitting. In the cooler months wear it with leggings and a jacket.
Made in our Cotton Cambric: a finer, lighter weight cotton, ideal for warm days, easy for summer dressing and layering.

I've just unpacked my first online order of 2 Frankie dresses in the Indigo & Jasper prints. Wow !! Beautiful cotton , gorgeous prints & prompt with delivery. Love the small cotton bag they came in (perhaps material offcut used for recycling 👌)
My original Frankie dress I bought in North East Victoria is probably 10yrs old & still going strong. The relaxed style, cool comfort is perfect for spring & summer.

I bought this dress for a specific purpose - to see my Tudor Rose blanket in the cabinet at the Easter Show in Sydney as the pattern seemed very Tudor Rosey - and wow! I am thrilled with the cut and how it looks on as well as how light it feels - even with a lining. Pockets (a must) are deep and the length is really lovely for the change of season. Love the Frankie dress in Elderflower. The material is soft and floaty, with an inner lining to stop it being see through. I have worn this to work and received lots of compliments. A colleague showed up with a Frankie in a different material, no inner lining and less soft. I was surprised at the difference. Both look great worn and are versatile to wear for work, going into town and around the house. Pockets are fab!
I bought my very first Frankie and I’m in love. This is the loveliest, most comfortable dress ever. It’s flattering and the perfect length, is lined and has POCKETS yay! I got this in Cosmos which I feel really compliments my soft-summer complexion. Couldn’t be happier with this dress. The karma east team are also super helpful and I love the little fabric bag it was delivered in. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Lovely dress. Empire line is quite high, so there's no chance of wearing this without a bra. Lovely, light, quality fabric. Fully lined. I'm size 12 with broad shoulders so sized up to a 14 since the fabric is non-stretchy. I was glad I did. Comfortable and flattering. I bought a couple of these for best, but think I'll wear them to work too, as the pockets are very practical and easily accommodate two phones, car keys, glasses, money, gloves, etc. This will not be my last Karma East purchase. I can make my own clothes but would be hard pressed to justify the time and expense of doing so when there's such an attractive, ethical and affordable alternative
I purchased one Frankie dress and am in love with it.. so much I promptly ordered another in a different print. The dress is fully lined and hangs beautifully, very flattering.. especially on a ‘mature’ woman!

I’m an early years teacher and the lovely prints bring a pop of colour the children really enjoyed. The Frankie dress is perfect for those who are not so comfortable showing off their upper arms anymore. I could not be more impressed 😀💕

gorgeous, I do wish you made a size 6 as your smallest size is 8 which means I will have to have it taken in and up..but otherwise i live the dress
The cotton fabric is light and soft including the lining. It is very well made but it was a bit to long so I did take a bit off

Love the Frankie dress in Peacock. Fits well and like that it's lined. Light and airy style, that drew quite a few compliments!
An every day staple that I can't wait to order again. Perfect length sleeves and skirt for a casual day dress. The pockets are well positioned, and it doesn't skew the dress when filled with items. Bust is firm but comfortable for a size 10-12 wearing a KE Small. Pair it with a denim jacket for some contrast and you're good to go! Cotton lining is a plus for the durable cotton that breathes and relaxes throughout the day.

This is a flattering style that fits nicely. Nicely fitted at the bust line and skins over the belly. It has pockets which are easily accessible and practical. Lovely light cotton with a light cotton lining. Perfect as a casual dress or dressed up with accessories and shoes. I used the calculator to choose size S but really think, despite the calculator, I would perhaps be more comfortable in the M.
Absolute heaven in a dress for summer! The fabric is light and soft and the beautiful cotton slip underneath is just perfect. Fit is a wee bit big. Beautifully sewn in quality fabrics. Very happy with my purchase!
Quality here. Well made and I love the print. Customer service is awesome! Unfortunately the sizing is small. I am 125 lbs and always take a medium. Withthis dress though I need a large.

Love the colours of this Frankie Dress. Bought XS size and it fits well. Style is comfortable to wear and pockets are very handy
This is my 2nd order for this dress as the first one has been worn heaps. Just love the fabric, colors and the fit. The pockets are handy too. Have been wearing during the winter with a long sleeve black merino jersey under it, and with pantyhose and boots.
Love this dress. I’ve worn it several times now and get lots of compliments. I think it is my favourite of of the four Frankie dresses I have. I love the fact that they are lined as well.
