Etta Dress Nocturne

I have such a nostalgic love for this cut — it reminds me of a vintage “house dress,” the kind you can wear all day in total comfort while still feeling a little fancy. It’s so versatile, too! It looked great paired with five of my sweaters, so I can see myself wearing it year-round.
I’d recommend ordering true to your measurements — I sized up to be safe, but it turned out roomier than expected. Karma’s cuts are really accurate.
I’d love to see a version of this dress with a round neckline — it’s such a timeless, everyday style that I’d definitely buy in multiple variations!

Absolutely delighted with this dress. First, absolutely love the colours and fabric - very good quality- slightly thicker than the floaty dresses. . Also love the detail- V neck pleasing, and easy access deep pockets (useful for phone if you don’t want to rummage for it in hand bag), great length so I don’t need to have it shortened (I’m 5 foot 4”) and it’s easy to get on and off without zip. I like the slight curve (concave)at the front-where the bodice (top) section joins the lower part. It’s helpful having size guide but I still sometimes have difficulty choosing right size 10 or 12 especially choosing a new style (this is my first Etta dress). The size 10 nicely and kindly skims this mature mum tum woman’s body! Altogether a marvellous gardenia creation. Love it.

I ordered a 3xl based on the size chart recommendation but it was way too big. Returned and will eventually reorder. Length was great. Not too long or short I’m 175cm and bust is 117cm

Absolutely love the Etta dress!! So happy with my purchase l can see myself purchasing a couple in this style. Beautifully made and love the deep pockets and length! Received lots of compliments about the stunning print (botany print) and style of the dress already. Purchased this dress as a trans-seasonal to layer with, and to wear on it's own in summer. True to Karma East style it's comfortable, feminine and stylish. Going to be one of my wardrobe favorites :)

Chose this style as it looks great and is comfortable. But also chose the pattern of fabric as it can be dressed up or down. Simple sandal by day and a more formal look with jewellery into our warmer nights and events. Plus who can’t love deep pockets!

Very comfortable and pretty print! Empire bodice fits well and bottom part is flowy. This is my second Etta dress and medium fits me without being tight. I am 5.3 and 145lbs.

So pretty! It’s a bit snug as I ordered a size smaller than usual, but as the diet continues, it should be a perfect fit! Love that it’s cotton!

What a wonderful purchase! The material is light, lovely to wear and the colour is true to the photo. I used the size recommendation and my measurement said M but 1 cm less would have been S. I usually wear a size 10 or 12. I am 5 Ft 2" and on the advice of the karma East tea.m I ordered a medium size and it fits perfectly.
Came in 6 days from Aust to NZ.

This is a lovely style that fits very well smart enough to be suitable for work and very comfortable to wear.

The cotton is not jersey, so it kerps a nice shape, is very lightweight and good for summer. Complementary cut/fit.

The Etta dress is so practical, versatile and effortless. Just slip it on over your head and you're good to go! Great for summer days paired with sandals, or at night with heels or boots.

Living in a hot humid climate for six months of the year really curtails the type of clothing that you would like to wear everyday. The breezy cotton material of this dress and others I have bought from Karma East is absolutely gorgeous and fit for wear when I am walking around 35 degrees and 80% humidity. The fact that it is an Australian company is a bonus.

I bought the Etta dress in the Gardenia pattern, it is gorgeous. The fabric drapes well,is soft and is very comfortable. The style and fit are fantastic, colours of the fabric are true to what is pictured on the site. Customer service was fantastic also. Highly recommended.
