Made from 100% mid weight cotton, the Billie Dress offers a timeless, structured silhouette that’s both flattering and versatile. Now available in the Mistlerose print, a sophisticated large scale floral with meandering vines in blue, teal, green, pink, orange and tan on a bright red base. Featuring a cinched waist with box pleats below the waistline that form an A-line skirt, this dress bears a flattering silhouette, cap sleeves, and a modest V-neck help protect from the sun. This dress has a side zip and sits just on the knee. Designed for comfort on a warm day, it works equally well over a pair of leggings, with a cardigan in the cooler months. I look around online for clothes that fit me (size 14-16) and am often disappointed that I am relegated to wearing either stretchy spandex or loose tents. This lovely cotton dress is an exception. Beautifully tailored -- yet forgiving -- accurately sized (if you read the sizing charts!) and in a gorgeous soft (yet-durable) cotton. Very comfortable, cool, and "swishy" -- Can be dressed up with heels or down with tennis shoes. Gorgeous pattern -- and comes in a handmade cotton bag, too!
Great dress, I’m a size 6, and 5 foot 1 inch, and it fits perfectly. Just below the knee. Can’t wait for summer to wear it.

This dress is a beautiful colour, material and the fit is very flattering. Order up one size as it is form- fitting.
A gorgeous dress, lovely fabric. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s a very tight fit. I wear a Medium in the Ursula dress and it’s quite roomy, so I went for Medium in Billie - much too tight! Luckily the returns process was easy and the staff very helpful, it was easy to swap to a Large, but even a large wasn’t roomy on me. More consistent sizing across dresses would be great! If you’re buying Billie and can’t decide what size to get, size up!

I only discovered Karma East recently and I am amazed how wonderful the clothes are. I have three Billie dresses now - the colours and patterns are so vibrant and fun. The dresses fit perfectly. Even my husband keeps commenting how lovely they are.

I already had the Billie dress in a different pattern, and I love this one even more. It fits well, and at 5' 2" I always worry things are going to be too long for me, but this has a lovely length. Will definitely buy another Billie dress in the future.
I can only wear cotton clothing and so finding Karma East has been just the ticket! The fabric is lovely the clothes are really well made and the styles are very appealing.
I choose a different size depending in the style of the garment. If the dress is loose and gathered I go for my usual size L. If the style is fitted I choose a size up XL. This is what I did when ordering the Billie dress.
The Billie dress in Bird of Paradise is really vibrant and very comfortable. I love wearing it!
the cut of this dress is so flatering, the V neck is not too low, the fabric is lovely and I feel great in it, can be dressed up or down, waiting for the next special to buy another
I love love love the colours offered in Karma East.
I bought a Sandy tunic in Azure and a Billie Dress in Nirvana.
The tunic is my go to in the summer, one of my favourite colours. WIll totally return to buy, as the colours really suit me and the quality is really good.
One thing I have found is that the dresses here tend to clinch a little high, closer to the bust than the waist. Because of my proportions I found the cut seems to accentuate my tummy! I ended up having to re-tailor the tunic (thankfully it had enough fabric to be taken in) but the Billie Dress, I just have to trust enough in the loud print for it distract.
One more request for the wishlist, I would love some dresses or tunics in a rich golden yellow. There are so many teals and rich purples in my wardrobe it would be great to have a contrasting jacket or dress.

Love the cut of this dress and the fabric is gorgeous colours. Wish it had pockets but otherwise perfect! (I haven’t tried it on yet but also have in Flannel flower - also lovely, always complimented- and that fits perfectly)

Love this Billie dress in obsidian. Such beautiful colours that pop on the dark background without being too bright. Love that I can wear it year round by layering with leggings and a cardigan in winter. I do wish it came with pockets like many of the other karma east dresses.
I love how versatile this dress is. It’s so cool and comfortable in summer but love the fact I can still wear a dress through winter by pairing it with thick leggings, boots and a long sleeved top underneath. This is my 3rd Billie dress!

Flattering cut, beautiful fabric another winner by Karma East!
This dress is an absolute delight to wear! The fit is flattering, and the overall look is just beautiful—I couldn't be happier with how it feels on.
When I first received it, the side zipper was a bit stiff, likely because the dress was brand new. I used a simple trick: rubbing a bar of soap along the zipper teeth, which worked perfectly. Any standard zipper lubricant should do the job just as well.
One tip: test the zipper before putting the dress on. Applying the soap while wearing the dress can be a bit awkward unless you're especially flexible!
I’m not tiny, size 10, but know that the extra small is the size for me and I was pleased with the fit, the cotton is a nice weight, the pattern is lovely with earthy colours.
The Billie dress is such a comfortable fit and fabulous style for both work and social occasions. I adore the bold Protea print and get compliments on this dress every time I wear it. You can tell the workmanship is next level and that care has gone in to designing this to fit well. The only downside is that it really needs an iron after washing (which I’ve managed to avoid for years) but this dress is definitely worth the extra effort! LOVE LOVE LOVE
Beautiful fit with the waistband and box pleated skirt. I love that the waistband and gathered bust gives some shape even for smaller busted ladies like myself. It’s very comfortable to wear and light and cool for summer.
