Lovely everyday dress

The dress size in the chart is accurate. Measure yourself carefully. The dress is so pretty. Doesn’t need ironing. The fabric has a little stiffness to it, which makes it sit nicely. Great for everyday. Make sure you handwash separately as the blue fabric ran a bit. I’ve had lots of compliments wearing this dress.

Great light weight dress

I am very happy with my new dress which I will get alot of wear out of. This Ember midi dress in Wild Spice is a great colour for me (Warm Autumn) and I agree the colour is a bit more on the red side (rust rather than terracotta). It feels light weight, is beautiful to wear and is very well made, it will be great for Summer. I also have the Malli tiered maxi in green which is a thicker fabric. I ordered a size 10 (same as the Malli). This dress is very slightly tighter across the chest. (I am a 34DD) I prefer to have clothes fitted across the chest. I am usually a size 10 in loose dresses and a size 12 in fitted dresses. 10 top and 12 bottom. The length is great on me 5’3”/160cm. The measurement chart for each dress is very helpful. I agree that if you stand with the light behind you, your silhouette is noticeable. Maybe a knee length cotton half slip can be added to your stock as they are hard to source.

Ember - the best style yet!

I have 15 Karma East dresses in my wardrobe now (in various styles), and this is one of the best designs yet. Sizing down was the right choice for me. The print is not my favourite (the colours are a little bland on me), but I was so excited to try the cut that I couldn't resist, and the gamble was totally worth it. However, I've only given it 4 stars as, unfortunately, the fabric is not up to the same quality as others. It is beautifully light, flowy and cool, but... highly see-through. The entire silhouette of your lower body is visible when the sun shines through. It either needs lining or slightly thicker, more opaque fabrics, which is one of the many benefits of my other Krama East dresses. I eagerly await more options in this first attempt at a winning style.
